Lake of the Woods, Minnesota/Canada Boundary Waters

 
Known as the boundary waters and as LOTW by fisherman in the know, Lake of the Woods walleye and smallmouth bass fishing is at or near the top of all lists. If you want a pure fishing trip, this is a must. My brother, cousin and I took this trip and each caught over 200 smallmouth bass in 3 days. Yet, the main attraction here are walleye..in my opinion the best tasting fish in the world. I wish we went during walleye season. Even so, it was the trip of a lifetime and a definite bucket list trip.
